The origins of the Villa de Benasque are remembered today through its rich heritage. We find stately homes in streets, squares and corners that make the town a place full of history with emblematic buildings such as the church of Santa Maria, of Romanesque origin (XIII century), the Tower of Casa Juste, Casa Faure or the Palacio de the Counts of the Ribagorza, of Renaissance style.
Very close to Benasque is Cerler, with its famous ski resort Aramón Cerler and from where you can appreciate an extraordinary panoramic view of the valley. Also in the vicinity of Benasque, you will find Anciles, with a beautiful urban set of manor houses that you will love.
In this top you will discover some of the last ice languages ​​of the Aragonese Pyrenees, protected under the name of Natural Monuments of the Pyrenean Glaciers.
And in this imposing Pyrenean environment is the second highest summit of the Iberian Peninsula, the Aneto peak (3.404m), belonging to the Posets Maladeta Natural Park, made up of the Posets and Maladetas massifs.
At the foot of the Posets Maladeta you will enjoy the valley of the Ibones, with the lake of the Alforjas, the ibón de Posets or the lake of La Plana as points of reference.
